Summary
This technical note lists the Windows Mobile (including Pocket PC) and Windows CE platforms that are supported by the NetMotion Mobility client, and how to determine the version of your operating system.

For devices that are not running the Windows Mobile operating system, a special version may be available by request, depending on processor type. You do not need this version if "Microsoft Windows Mobile" is displayed in the About box on your mobile device—use the Mobility client for Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC or Smartphone instead.

For devices that are not running the Windows Mobile operating system, and that require a MIPS or XScale-specific processor, a special version may be available by request, depending on processor type. You do not need this version if "Microsoft Pocket PC" is displayed in the About box on your mobile device—use the Mobility client for Windows Mobile 2003 instead.

Determining Your Pocket PC or Windows CE Version
If you do not know what version of Windows CE you are using, perform the following steps to determine your operating system version.
Handheld PC
- Tap Start, tap Settings, and then tap Control Panel.
- Double-tap System.
- Tap the System tab for system information.
- Examine the Core System Version field.
Pocket PC
- Tap Start, and then tap Settings.
- Tap the System tab.
- Double-tap the About icon.
